Can Marc Restaurant is situated in the town of Sant Esteve de Palautordera, in a Catalan farmhouse built on the 14th Century. As being located in the Natural Park of Montseny, it becomes an idyllic place. It is surrounded by huge vegetation forests and Tordera river, ideal to do walks and disconnect from the frenetic rythm that the city provoque.

Can Marc also offers a haute cuisine kithcen while not forgiving the lifelong dishes. So, you can enjoy from our daily menu, Can Marc menu, surprise or degustation menu.

The restaurant has got 3 double rooms and one familiar one with a capacity for 4 people. It offers a breakfast service and in summer there is also a salt pool.

Small events and weddings are held because there is also a big garden with a marquee.

Health Center and Hotel Som l’Om has a 90m2 room fully equipped with WI-FI, air conditioning, heating, projector, coffee machine, water, chairs with desks, tables, office supplies and paper boards. This room with wooden floors and natural light can be divided into two smaller rooms, one of 30 m2 and another 60 m2 to hold meetings and courses. The facilities are totally accessible to people with reduced mobility

The complex has8 large, comfortable and bright rooms about 25 square metres in size with a maximum occupancy of three people.
Four of them have private terraces. Also, one of the rooms has facilities for disabled people.

• In spring: CIRC CRIC FESTIVAL IN MONTSENY, from 23th April to 4th July de abril al 4 de julio 2021 with circus exhibitions and nature activities, all weekends.

We also programm exhibitions of invited companies, fairs and workshops, cabarets, concerts…

• SCHOOL programs, a whole day full of participating activities and exhibitions  A DAY AT CIRC CRIC.

Cancelled until spring 2022 due to COVID-19.

• In autumn: CLOWN INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL, from 30th September to 3rd october 2021.
• We accommodate COMPANIES in their creative processus.
• We organize COURSES/STAGES/MASTERCLASS for artists.

How to get there?
Take the road from Santa Maria de Palautordera to Seva and take the turning before reaching the km 7. Park our car, go past the restaurant Can Marc in Sant Esteve de Palautordera and follow the indications to the castle. Cross the Tordera river through the stones.

Constructed during the 9th century. Only a round corner tower and a ruined chapel remain. Foundations and the remains of walls can be seen on the fallen cliffs of the hillside, which indicate that it was once a large mediaeval fort.

How to get there?
On the way BV- 5301 from Santa Maria de Palautordera to Seva between km 7 and 8. It is a private castle.

First documented in 1154, although the Romanesque church of Sant Cebrià is still intact within the modern building of the castle.
